Steffen-Haus Puppy

Uniformity
Our litters are very uniform, with males being slightly larger than the females. The puppies look like they have been cut out with a cookie cutter! Variety in litters usually indicates lack of compatibility in the breeding pair, as well as lack of proper research and planning on the part of the breeder. Breeding dogs is not only a great responsibility, it requires diligent study and knowledge in order to produce quality.
Our Steffen-Haus pups are all well socialized and temperament tested. We spend a great deal of time with each individual puppy on a one on one basis and get to know, love and understand each one very well. It is always difficult for us when the time comes for these puppies to leave to go to their new homes. It is of the utmost importance to know that the puppy is adjusting to his/her new environment, is happy, and is doing well. Therefore with the purchase of a Steffen-Haus puppy, you have also acquired the entire Steffen-Haus staff! We will always be available to answer any questions. The puppy will have a complete and current heath exam by a licensed veterinarian of which you as the new owner, will have a copy. We also will send a six page information sheet listing vaccinations and giving advice on teething, ear cleaning, exercise and of course, feeding the proper food.

We always match the puppy’s temperament and background with its new owner's requirements. We have a full time staff of 5 people to care for the puppy’s basic needs-feeding, clean-up and of course love. Steffen-Haus puppies are kept in immaculate conditions from the time of birth until they leave for their new home. Our staff includes one member who is in charge of the socialization of the pups. She begins working with the puppies at four weeks of age. Puppies are introduced to a multitude of new experiences and temperament tested. A daily report is written on each individual’s progress.
